From there, you will journey north into the Rif Mountains to reach the enchanting town of Chefchaouen. After checking into your riad, the remainder of the day is yours to wander through the famous blue-painted streets at your own pace. Browse the vibrant local markets, sip mint tea at a cozy café, and soak in the serene atmosphere before settling into your riad for a peaceful overnight stay.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN → FES

Following a delicious breakfast, you will depart the blue city and travel south toward the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. Upon arrival, an expert local guide will lead you through the city’s ancient, winding streets. You will dive into its medieval history, marvel at the stunning architectural details, and experience the lively atmosphere of the traditional Medina. After enjoying an authentic Moroccan lunch amidst the bustling souks, you will retreat to a charming, centrally-located riad to relax and spend the night.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA → RISSANI → TODRA GORGE → DADES VALLEY

In the afternoon, we head west to Rissani to visit its famous traditional market (if it’s a market day). We then continue to the Todra Gorge, where the river has carved a massive canyon through the mountains. After a walk through the gorge, the day concludes in the Dades Valley, famous for its unique “monkey fingers” rock formations. Dinner and overnight in the Dades Valley.
